Nestled in native bushland, Goanna is quirky, unpretentious and relaxed. The ever-changing seasonal menu is designed to showcase the very best and freshest ingredients on offer in the region.
Owner and head chef, Duncan Timmons, is passionate about creating simple, interesting and honest dishes, which are reflected in the seasonal menus. He works closely alongside a long list of local producers and suppliers to ensure that every menu item showcases the freshest, best quality and locally sourced ingredients.
Everyone is welcome at Goanna, and together, Duncan and his wife and co-owner Ali, love to nourish their guests on their way to explore the beautiful offerings of the south west on their doorstep.
Little ones can enjoy their own adventure in the children's playground with adjacent cafe seating, and well behaved doggos on lead are also welcome in our outdoor areas.

Indo all the way! .. with a side of bacon! We would easily drive a lazy 3 hours for this breakfast! Great service and bush deck view too (with a family of magpies and a sneaky crumb eating skink!). Love this place ❤️

We had a wonderful breakfast for our school reunion. We had a table of 15 and the breakfasts all came out at the same time and everyone commented on the wonderful atmosphere and the service we got. I would recommend booking before you go and the Indo breakfast was very tasty and filling. They make great coffee and the pots of tea are very generous. Try it you will enjoy it!!! :)

We ordered the takeaway feasts for our small wedding of 20 people. Everyone LOVED the food. We couldn’t be more happy with the feasts. The meat was melt in your mouth and the flavours were wonderful. The highlights were the beef, lamb, pulled pork, potato bake and pasta bake. Having the meals prepared for us in foil trays and all we had to do was put them in the oven made our event stress free! Would definitely buy again for another event.

Pleasant atmosphere with good options for indoor or outdoor dining. Kid friendly with a play area for the little ones. Menu not extensive but adequate. Booking recommend for those busier times. Coffee good.
