The menu is intentionally small and constantly rotating, focusing on small-batch creations crafted with care in their Dunsborough kitchen rather than mass production. Danish ice cream, a harmonious middle ground between the richness of American ice cream and the lightness of Italian gelato, offers the perfect balance of indulgence and delicacy. Elski’s ice creams is served from a traditional Italian pozzetti, which perfectly preserves the ice cream and allows it to be served at a warmer temperature, enhancing the flavour and creating a smoother consistency.
Inspired by owners Steve and Anna’s experiences and connection to Denmark, Elski weaves Danish charm into every detail. From photos of Copenhagen’s canals, found at a Danish flea market, to wooden stools from a beloved Danish design brand, their space reflects a love for Danish culture. Even the rotating Danish-inspired flavours, along with the classic guf and flødeboller found in nearly every ice cream shop in Denmark, bring an authentic taste of home to Elski.

The best ice cream shop in Dunsborough! Every flavor we tried was absolutely amazing—rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The selection is incredible, with something for everyone, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The shop itself has a lovely atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to stop and enjoy a treat. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in town. Highly recommend!

My wife is now happily satisfied. As she is Danish, find food that reminds her of her original country is few and far between. But Elski has brought a smile to her face that she won’t be losing anytime soon. Even the kids loved it.
Plus we were able to by a box of Flødeboller to take home.
I had the brownie sundae and the wife and kids had danish waffles. One with meringue ontop of the ice cream.

Just popped in as we parked in front of the shop and saw the sign and we loved the ice creams! Tried three different flavors in a triple cup and they turned out amazing. My pick was dark chocolate with orange. Beautiful shop with incredible staff as well.

We were in Dunsborough for 10 days and had ice cream everyday! It was a total addiction! Elski is so lovely, service, atmosphere and food alike! Coconut and coffee cardamom were our favourites, our kids loved milk chocolate and strawberry/watermelon ♥️
