Brookwood Estate is family owned and operated.
Since our inception Brookwood Estate has been about hard work and a never say die attitude; that has brought us to this point, being one the most popular boutique wineries in the Margaret river region; with our wines being praised by judges, patrons, wine writers and alike.
Trevor and Lyn Mann invested every cent they had in the land and in September 1996 the first plantings went into the ground. These plantings were from pruned canes that they gathered from only the best vineyards in the region and they themselves turned these into root stock to grow their vineyard.
All Brookwood Estate wines are made from estate grown fruit that is grown by Trevor Mann. His vineyard has been used as a showpiece for our guests from all over the world and also for other vineyard owners and operators.
The wine is all made by Lyn Mann and her daughter Bronnley; it is made in small batches and is processed immediately as it is harvested. We crush less than a tonne at a time and all of this is usually done by family and close friends in the middle of the night so we can operate the cellar door and café the next day.
Last year we made around 2000 cases of wine and this sold only to select restaurants and through our cellar door.
As all the wines are made by hand we are very selective and can be on how we distribute our products.
As we move into the next generation, we will continue our family traditions and continue to strive to create beautiful handcrafted products so our friend’s, family and customers can enjoy the fruits of our labour.
